See, we really are making progress. The next step is to sand the walls of Felix's room so I can then prime and paint (I want to get that all done before Saturday because we're then hoping to put in the flooring). We also need to do some rearranging in the kitchen so we can finish the wall behind the fridge. I'm going to hold off on the ceiling and other two walls till some time in the future. I'm just not going to worry about it for now. Same with the mural I have planned for Felix's room. I just want the base paint for now. The guy at the paint store said I don't really need to texture the walls. I can sand them down and then use matte paint (instead of glossy) and with a mural it'll be fine.

Your kitchen looks beautiful! How satisfying and frustrating home improvements can be because before it can get better it has to get worse!
