Today as I was sitting at my computer and Heather was napping, little Felix picked up the container of wipes, opened the closet where the diapers are, grabbed one, and brought the diaper and wipes to me. He did need to be changed, so I did that. Then I handed him the box of wipes and said to him, "Go put them back."

He did.

Awesome.

Wow how nice, what a smarty! I heard one of the first steps of potty training, is the child letting you know he needs to be changed. :)

I knew he was going to grow up to be Einstein Jr!

We actually bought him a potty chair this week. He loves sitting on it and will usually try pushing down his diaper so he can have a naked bum to sit. Not that he knows what to do when he sits, but he thinks it's a really cool chair.

I have high hopes that he'll be potty trained by the time the new baby is here...

Nice! Isn't it amazing the things that bring parents joy? Another one of my biggest joys is when my kid is old enough to get a kleenex when they have a cold so I'm not chasing them around the house with a kleenex the duration of their illness.
Congratulations!

He just started actually blowing his nose too. We can't keep the kleenex anywhere he can reach, though, or he'll empty the box just for fun.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you only had ONE kid in diapers at a time? Beautiful.

That's pretty awesome - no, REALLY AWESOME!!! Felix is definitely going to be Einstein Jr. However, I find it even funnier that he tries to blow his nose now too... :D
