Baby reality

Lying on the bed this morning on my back, I asked Brent if I looked pregnant yet. I know I'm only 3 1/2 months pregnant, but I'm actually hopeful because I haven't felt very pregnant. Not much in the way of nausea, but way more emotional than normal and I have to go to the bathroom a lot.

Brent said no. No worries, it'll come soon enough. I would rather look pregnant than fat though.

As I felt my belly (in between Felix crawling all over me), I could feel a pretty obvious hardening of my lower belly. That's apparently where the uterus is located. So, through the fat, it is hard underneath. Brent has the same thing, but he calls his "stealth abs". Mine would very happily be baby. I would someday like to have abs again, but this is good.

Heather...........

You are NOT fat. Overweight? perhaps. Flabby? maybe. 'Wide around the hinges?' if you say so, but...

You are not fat. Who even cares anyway, does that even matter? The only people's opinions you should care about are those who look at you from the INSIDE - oh, and it might be wise to listen to your doctor too... but even then.

C'mon, self confidence here? I think I'm ugly. Has anyone really tried to tell me otherwise? No, but I would want someone to, so i'm stepping in here 4 you.

Ethan, the fact that you think you're ugly means you've been talking to the wrong people! I don't have any ugly relatives!!!!!

I don't mind being fat, but I would like to be smaller because it's easier to get around, easier and more pleasant to shop, etc. You may not see it because of my sparkling personality and for that I adore you even more. ;)

Ohhhhhh. K. For a second there I thought you were gonna like bail on me or turn into some "Beware Felix" doomsayer and go be a hermit so Brent can get some practice photoshopping them, LOL...

Ok, now THAT is just true. Everyone is always like, 'You must be such a BASKETBALL GUY!!' and when I tell them otherwise, it gets all awkward and they're like, 'What a waste of talent, your parents should be ashamed!'...

So, is Felix for sure allergic to peanut butter? I don't think they did that in the tests, did they?? OH! and my mom thinks I am Lactose-Intolerant. Like right now, my stomach is killing me because I had a bowl of cereal, and once I was in serious agony after I had eaten a vanilla frosty. I dont like it very much. :( :( :(

Well, whenever you guys have the time, be sure to let me know. I am soooooo bored right now!

Yep, we're sure about the allergy to peanuts (and peanut butter). That is one of the things they test for. Maybe you should ask about getting tested too.

Heather, I don't want to see you from the inside.

Ever.

Just saying.

At least you are HAVING a baby. I am still rather annoyed at the number people who have asked my virgin self how far along I am. Yeah.

I never get asked. I didn't get asked with Felix at all. Not even at 7 1/2 months pregnant. The only way you can really tell with me is if I have one of those retarded t-shirts that says "baby on board" or something like that. :)
